During the project lifetime, four types of activities will be implemented:

  1. Interviews and focus groups for intersectoral cooperation methodology. They will be aimed at gathering information and best practices from professionals who have experience in implementing arts and culture activities with young vulnerable people. The main focus of the interviews and focus groups is:
  • To develop a methodology of cooperation between different professional sectors
  • To allow the building of a community of practice around inclusion of youth in precariousness and migratory situations in all areas of life, through cultural practices.

The final output, thus, will be the creation of a comprehensive and adaptable methodology for cooperation between various actors, to support inclusion of young people in precarious or migratory situations.

Period: March 2021- November 2022

 

  1. Image education program. Implemented within the partner’s facilities and with schools, the goal of this 10-months program is to “come towards” the children, but also to engage them within new social spaces and, thus, facilitate encounters and exchanges.

Period: January 2022- October 2022

 

  1. Training for education professionals. This training aims at supporting professionals to incorporate image education within their professional practices, and to reinforce their capacity to render this kind of activity inclusive in regards to the difficulties some of the children might be facing.

It will support education professionals in facing new challenges and audiences; raising awareness to the multiple issues faced by vulnerable children; promoting strategies of intersectoral cooperation to facilitate implementation of inclusive projects, such as image education programs.

Period: May 2022- January 2023

 

  1. Awareness raising campaigns. Thought as a capacity building activity for children, a sensitizing campaign will be organised in all organisations and countries engaged in the project. The content and shape of the campaign will be the result of the work done by the children involved in the program. These campaigns will have as a result the improvement of the capacities and self-esteem of the children, who will acquire new skills and aptitudes and will be directly involved in the campaign creation and presentation.

Period: March 2022- December 2022
