CinéLigue HDF is an association belonging to the field of cinema and popular education.
15 permanent employees work for our organization, and about 100 volunteers help the projectionists in the towns belonging to our network. Its domains of activities are films broadcasting (60 000 spectators per year) and image education.
Cinéligue is one of 100 mobile cinema operators recognized by the National Film Centre of France. It works in about 100 towns of Hauts-de-France Region and organize about 900 cinema screenings per year. Its working areas are mainly rural and peri-urban areas. The association develops partnerships with all local actors : gastronomy, crafts, associations for the defense of the environment, mediatheques, schools Cinéligue is also specialized in cultural and citizen programming for young audience and training for educational relays regarding cinema. It organizes many re-creation workshops for young people to learn how to make their first film. The association sets up debates between young people, so that they exchange around societal themes such as: the fight against discrimination, racism, equality between girls and boys…
Cinéligue HDF has more than 20 years of experience in image education.
Three members of his team are responsible for film interventions and artistic practice workshops. Each year, a dozen groups of teenagers produce their first short film, supervised by stakeholders.
Each year, more than 1,000 hours of theoretical classroom interventions are provided by the team.
CinéLigue is coordinator of a national image education program for the Lille Academy ince more than 20 years. It concerns more than 15000 high school students of the Hauts-de-France Region.
CinéLigue is a member of regional and national image education networks and participates in the national film choices of these institutions.
